Our Mission:
Our mission is to help children heal who have experienced trauma and are now living in the state's foster care system . We at Sunshine Farm have created a new emotional world by healing through compassion and happiness. The farm offers the experience for children to feel welcomed into a world where people and animals cherish them, protect them, meet their needs, make them feel at home and give them a sense of belonging. When the children work side by side with the animals they start to heal the feelings of fear, abandonment, helplessness, and isolation. All of our programs aid in helping a child to feel an uplifting in their self worth. The children form an attachment to the horses and other small animals. Their imaginations and creativity run wild at the farm and their spirits are free.

Mel went to nursing school and worked for years in Intensive Care Units...Has owned several businesses and is the founder of Mel's pony pals which has grown into Sunshine Farm Sanctuary. She loves children is a visiting resource to several children. She has dedicated her life to children in foster care, bringing them hope and lasting memories.

Linda, general manager of Club eX Fitness and Nutrition has provided Christmas gifts, Easter baskets, school supplies and much more for group homes throughout Massachusetts. She received the STARS award from the United Way for her work with foster children throughout the years.

Tracy Egan-Lambert an equestrian and entrepreneur donates her horses, time,expertise and love to hundreds of children throughout the year. She is also a visiting resource to several children
